How our marketing for home service businesses works

Three stages, always in this order. Skipping ahead to ads is what most agencies do, and it is why most trades think marketing does not work.

Get found

Before anything else, your business has to exist properly where people look for your trade. For local work that is the Google map pack, and it is won on the profile, the reviews, and the site behind them.

  • Google Business Profile claimed, verified, and built out: the right primary and secondary categories, every service listed, the service area drawn to the towns you actually cover, real photos, and posts that keep it active.
  • Reviews asked for automatically after every completed job, by text, with a link that takes one tap. We handle the replies too, including the bad ones, because how you answer those is read by everyone who comes next.
  • A rebuilt website that loads fast on a phone on a job site, has a page for each service and each town you serve, and asks for the job instead of describing your company history.

Never miss a lead

Most trade businesses do not have a lead problem, they have a response problem. The company that replies first usually books the estimate, and for an owner on a ladder that is almost never going to be you unless something answers for you.

  • A local tracking number that rings your phone as normal, and texts the caller back the second a call goes unanswered.
  • Website forms and Google profile messages get the same treatment: an instant text and email reply, using their name and what they asked about.
  • You get alerted at the same moment with the details, so you can call back knowing who it is and what they want.
  • If nobody has answered after five minutes, a backup sequence runs on its own until somebody has actually spoken to them.

Fill the calendar

Ads come last, once the profile, the reviews, the site, and the follow-up are all working. Paying for clicks that land on a weak page is the most common way a trade business burns a budget.

  • Meta ads aimed at your service area, with creative built around the offer and the season rather than your logo.
  • Google added where the search volume justifies it for your trade, not by default.
  • Everything judged on cost per booked estimate. Clicks, impressions, reach, and engagement are diagnostics for us, not results for you.
  • The budget stays in ad accounts you own, paid straight to the platforms, so you can see every dollar and keep the account whatever happens.

What happens after somebody contacts you

This runs whether you are on a roof, under a truck, or asleep. You do not have to remember any part of it.

  1. 0:00

    The enquiry lands

A missed call on your tracking number, a form on your site, a message on your Google profile, or a lead from a Meta ad. Every source feeds the same place.

  2. 0:45

They hear back before they call the next company

An automatic text from your local number and an email, both under a minute. It uses their name and says what they contacted you about, so it does not read like a robot.

  3. 0:45

    You get pinged

At the same moment you get a text and an email with their name, number, where the lead came from, and what they asked for. Nothing to log into.

  4. 5:00

Backup follow-up runs if nobody has answered

A second text goes to the customer, a reminder goes to you, and an email follows later that day. Most jobs that would have gone cold get caught here.

  5. Ongoing

Everything is logged with its source

Date, name, number, trade, where it came from, and what happened next, in a shared sheet you can open any time. That is how we tell which channel is actually paying.

We pull your Google profile, your reviews, your site speed, and the three competitors sitting above you in the map pack, then walk you through what we would change first. No charge, no obligation.
